Short Description
Day 1
Transfer to airport and flight to Jinka. Upon arrival transfer to hotel. After lunch we go hiking on the mountains near Jinka and visit settlements of aari people. Before going back to hotel in the evening we visit local museum.

In the morning we drive across Mago Park to visit one of the settlements of mursi people. Returning to Jinka for breakfast and short break, we drive to Turmi, visiting one of the local markets on the way. 225 km

Day 3
Early in the morning we drive to the little town of Kangaten. Excursion to the village of nyangatom people near Kangate, then breakfast in one of local restaurants. Then we drive to Kolcho, a village of karo people. We return to Turmi at lunch time. In the evening a visit to one of numerous settlements of hamer people, hiking for about an hour. 250 km

Day 4
Drive from Turmi to Arba Minch (285 km). On the way we stop in Karat Konso to visit one of the villages of konso people, registered and UNESCO World Heritage site. Arrival to Arba Minch in the evening. This resort is equipped with swimming pool and spa.

Day 5
Drive to Lake Langano with stop-over for lunch in Hawassa. This lodge is located near the lakes, where it is possible to swim. 315 km

In the morning excursion to Abyatta Shala National park, hiking in the park for half an hour, then drive to Addis Ababa. Upon arrival shopping for souvenirs.
We, five musicians of Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra, came to Ethiopia to visit tribes of the south, living in the late stone age. It so happened that we contacted Terra Incognita Tour Operation and its owner Helena. After our trip I can confirm, that to speak about her in superlative mode is to say nothing. Awsome range of knowledge of the country: history, geography, customs - are impressove! In the beginning, when she used to say "my people, my country", it was strange to hear, even though she came to Ethiopia about 30 years ago. But then I understood, that she sincerely loves this country as her own, and grew into Ethiopian culture. Of course, knowledge of amharic language is important, too. We had a feeling, that everybody knows her anf she knows everybody, even in most remote and uncivilized places. We were amazed by her professionalism. Everything beside her works as Swiss watch. Helena is a guide of highest qualification, her excursions and tours and thought out to the tiniest detail, her stories about Ethiopia, its towns, nature, history and people are most interesting, enthralling and informative. DUring the trip we didn't have to worry, since all was well organized, attached, thought out and calculated.
