    There are several museums in Addis Ababa worth visiting, but the best of them is National Museum, mainly because of its anthropological exhibition, where you can see fossils of Lucy, Australopithecus Afarensis, about 3 million 180 thousand years old.
    There is also ethnographic museum, located in the territory of Addis Ababa University, in the territory of the former palace of Emperor Haile Selassie I. It is one of the best such museums in the world. Special attraction of this museum is Emperor’s bedroom with original furniture and personal belongins of Haile Selassie.
    In Ethiopia there are over 40,000 Orthodox churches. In Addis Ababa tourists usually visit two of them. St. George Cathedral, built by Emperor Menelik I in 1898 after glorious victory of Ethiopia over Italian colonial army at the battle of Adowa, is designed in a traditional Ethiopian style. It is decorated by paintings of famous Ethiopian artist. Holy Trinity Cathedral, built in shape of a basilica, is a burial place of Emperor Haile Selassie and his wife Empress Mennen.
    Full day tour in Addis Ababa takes 7 to 8 hours. It also includes lunch in a traditional Ethiopian restaurant and souvenir shopping.
